The band plays hardcore that is remarkably accesable. Some criticasters might say that the characteristic hardcore outbursts are too flat, but I think that this is actualy a plus here. Because of this “Ghost Story” has become a very consistent album with the emphasis on the music and not on the musical mayhem that more than often disgueses the lack of skills of most hardcore bands. The sound also shows that When Tigers Fight take their stuff serious.

The former members of Damnation A.D., The Promise and The Suicide File have taken their hobby one step further. With Ghost Story they have created a piece of work that could even be commercial successful. They will probably loose some of their fans because of the lack of ferocity that characterized the debut EP, but my bet is that they will make quite a few new fans. This one has potential.
