Dustsucker started in the year 1993 by two friends somewhere in Germany (for those who want to know it was in Westphalia). In 1994 Dustsucker released their first album under their own label Zylinder Records. Their second album called “Another One Sucks The Dust” was released in 1996 and after this release the band started doing shows with bands like DOA, Warpath and Exploited. In 1999 Dustsucker released the “King Size Rock’n Roll” EP followed with in 2001 the album “Hookers Planet”, in 2003 the “Blackslider” EP, in 2004 the “Rock’n Roll Sniper” and this year (2006) the band just released “Jack Knife Rendevous”.
Between all those releases the band had some tours, label changes and line-up changes. And maybe you already know by hearing the album titles but Dustsucker plays heavy rock’n roll influenced by Motorhead.
The album starts with the sounds of a fast driving leaving car. When the car starts the music starts.

The music is the typical modern rock’n roll sound like Danko Jones and Peter Pan Speedrock. I try to explain what picture I have in my mind with this kind of music. Imagine a lot of beer (what’s really a good thing), people with leather jackets and a long beard. Further I see some Harley Davidson’s and a lot of tattoo’s.
Dustsucker is not a band that brings us a new sound, but I don’t think that’s the intention of the band. I think the band just want to play live shows, put out albums and have a lot of fun.
This is my visualisation of “Jack Knife Rendevous”. If you’re some kind of person that liked my description or you’re a person that could fit in my story then you can get this album for free. Just sent an e-mail to news@rockezine.com with the subject free Dustsucker CD. Don’t forget to mention your name and address. When you’re the first then this album is yours.
