Labels are trying a lot of things to sell some records and a lot of them are releasing albums with various artists from their own label; these are the perfect albums to hear some new stuff.

Rebellion Records from The Netherlands just released their first ‘various artists’-album. Its name is Streetrock The Greatest Hits Vol. 1.
The album contains streetpunk bands like: Baker Dozen, Marching Orders, The Clichés, Razorblade and much more.

They come across as sing-along songs in German and English.
The tracks on this compilation are songs that were released earlier as well as material that has been exclusively recorded for this album.
Unfortunately the quality of the songs is very variable. At one moment I’m listening to a song which sounds like it was recorded in my mom’s basement and the next moment a song sounds like it was recorded in the most expensive studio on the planet.

The album comes in a very nice digipack, so when you’re into streetpunk then this compilation is really one for you.
