Left is a three-piece rock formation from Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and the band makes rock music (how surprising).
The band has played a lot of shows the last years and they’ve had a lot of positive reactions (according to their site at least; I’ve never seen them).

After a lot of releases and live shows the band must have thought: “now it’s time for an EP”. And here it is: the four-song EP from Left called So Much For Adaptation.
The sound of the four songs is very refreshing but I miss something.

I can’t mention what it is exactly, because the songs have some variety in pace. This makes it really a pleasure to listen to this EP.
The last two songs (that’s 50% of the whole EP) are really not as good as the first two. The reason for this is that the vocalist uses higher notes. These are too high and compromise the freshness of the first two.

So Much For Adaptation is a nice EP, but the band needs to grow and when they just keep on playing I think everything is going to be all right with Left.
