As nice as the artwork from this album is, so bad is the music they play. Butterfly Effect is the newest effort from Mostly Harmless. This band from Switzerland plays nu-metal with some metal and emo influences, just something that is done by thousand of bands.

I listened to this album several times, the first time I thought that there was a possibility that I liked this album. The second time that feeling was gone and the third time I didn’t like it anymore. The reasons for this are: false clean vocals, bad rap parts and the fact that there are tons of other bands who make this kind of music but then much better. They can’t keep my attention while listening to the songs, the whole album sounds if there’s some dust in my CD-player and I can’t feel the energy you need to feel with this kind of music.

There is one cool thing about this whole band. The band sings as well in English as well as in their own language. Though I’m not sure about this because I can’t identify the country this language comes from.

In the intro from this review I wrote about the cool artwork. The album is packed in a nice digi-pack with a very cool artwork on the front.

Mostly Harmless didn’t impress me with this release and I don’t think this band is going to impress one of you guys or girls.
