Whatever It Takes is a band from Belgium and was formed in 2004 as a side project of Outfit with ex-Die My Demon vocalist Hans on vocals.
Compare the sound from this band with Cold As Life, Shattered Realm and the early Born From Pain. When you’re not familiar with these bands stop reading this review. This release is not made for you. Whatever It Takes recorded eight songs at De Studio in Asse (Belgium) because of the sold-out split they released.
The eight songs on the album are very brutal, and contain lots of mosh parts and film fragments.

Let’s say all the ingredients a hardcore band uses. The pity thing on this MCD is the raw sound, which makes it sound like a good recorded demo and that’s a pity because the songs and the vibe on this album are very good.
I hope that they loose the raw production with their next release and when they do I think they can make another good album which will sound more brutal.
