The razor grinders from Belgium are back. Maramus is the new full length by Leng tch’e, and it’s more diverse than their previous work ever was. The high-speed death/grind is combined with a lot of groove, hardcore and rock/stoner riffs. Because of this combination Leng tch’e has proven to really fit the Relapse roster. Maramus is an album that stays interesting from the first to the last minute, where the lack of continuous quality was exactly the problem I had with their previous releases.

The band has grown a lot and shows a really mature face on this release.
Maramus is the biggest highlight of 2007 for me so far. I can really recommend this disc to all fans of Aborted, Burnt by the sun, The Red Chord and Dying Fetus.
