The first time I Heard from The Tossers was a few years ago with the release of their album The Valley Of The Shadows Of Death. I loved that album and expected to hear a lot from the band. Unfortunately I never heard of the band anymore until a few weeks ago.

A few weeks ago their newest effort Agony lay on my doormat. I was totally forgotten about the band but was directly enthusiastic about this new album.
The new album is the same as their previous album. Folk, punk, Irish, Celtic are the best words to describe it. When you like Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys or The Pogues you’ll definitely like this one.

The album contains 17 songs with a variety of fast played and highly Irish-influenced songs that give me a great and happy feeling.

I hope that The Tossers will tour Europe very fast, a live show from this band must be great just as every Flogging Molly show.
The Tossers didn’t reinvent the wheel or do anything special on this release. But that’s normal with Irish folk punk; they do things that have been done for 100 years. The Tossers do this in a good way.
