It’s a long time ago that I heard such a good aggressive sounding protest album and it’s from Pro-Pain.
The tenth Pro-Pain album is also the kick-off for their 15 year anniversary party. It`s their first concept album, and the concept is “War On Terrorism”. Pro-Pain is not the first band who speaks about the things mister Bush does, but they have found one of the best song titles, to capture it. The second song on the album is namely called `All For King George` and it has a very good and funny sing-along chorus.
The lyrics from Pro-Pain are always very direct and they don’t keep their mouth shut about anything. So it was just a matter of time that they would come out with an album about the war on terrorism. | |
I hope for this band that the audience isn’t already sick of all those bands screaming at Bush junior.
But luckily for those kids the sound of Pro-Pain hasn’t changed much. The band is using the same formula every time, so it is , a hard, aggressive album with mosh parts and sing-alongs.
And luckily for everyone who likes new influence in the sound, Pro-Pain uses a Spanish guitar part in the song `Beyond The Pale`. Furthermore, there are more heavy metal sounding guitar solos then on their earlier albums.
The Tenth Crusade is one of the best albums Pro-Pain ever made. In a few weeks the band start their European tour, so make sure you check them out somewhere.
