From the first second this 6 track mcd of the Dutch metal formation Instil is raging out of my speakers. The frontman grunts his longs out and the metal guitars are like an unstoppable storm of riffs. This mixture of thrash/ heavy metal and death metal with a small dose of hardcore is overwelming. If you thought Fire Reflects In Ashes was a great album, then you really need to listen to Stalking Death. They have speed it all up without losing the melodic power of their previous album. The production of Stalking Death is just like the last album of very high standards. That makes probably one of the best dutch metal acts, come out even better.

With the death thrasher Come Off Triumphant this cd starts and then keeps up constant high quality six tracks long.

Pounding bass drums, great guitar melodies combined with thrash riffs and the great grunts and screams of Rene Smit makes this album one of my personal favorites of this year. This is also the last contribution to Instil of the 2 J’s of the band. Jaap Vissering(drums) and Joop Suelmann(guitar) both stopped for personal reasons. They are replaced by Marc Guchelaar(drums) former Unauthorized and Wouter Jillings(guitar) former Escadron. With this album it`s probably time for bigger labels to open there ears and give more metal fans the chance to hear and maybe see Instil.
