With the singer Uncle Sake, they almost got a voice clone of the legendary John Garcia (Kyuss). They also play stonerrock like Kyuss, so this could be a copycat of Kyuss. But no way! I said they also play stoner, but I do not mean that it is only stoner. With the Desert Sons, Holland can claim to have the elite in 70`s stoner/hardrock.

`Rock & Roll Dazzle` starts with `Nuts`: a sinister sounding organ, followed by roaring deep purple riffs and a groovin rhythm: a perfect blend of 70`s rock and stoner.

After this, they go on with songs like the slow `Setting Sons of Stone`, like Soundgarden meets Kyuss. `Get movin` is a real hardrock & roller, think Led Zeppelin, AC/DC. `What to Do` winks to Survivor. But all the songs have a nice stoner, 70`s flavour to them. Most songs include the organ, played by member of Planet Orange, Harm Wierda, and that completes the great sound on this album.

So the conclusion: this is an absolutely musthave for the hardrock/stoner fans.
