Monstrosity is already among us for 16 years and still not every death metal fan has heard about this band. That’s about to change with the release of `Spiritual Apocalypse`.

With only one original member Monstrosity recorded their fifth album and it became a killer. In the beginning of their existence they opened for bands like the almighty Pantera, Deicide and many more. I wonder why this band didn’t get the attention or credit they deserved.
The first thing I noticed is that there’s (again) a new singer in the band.

This guy brings Monstrosity to a higher level. They were already on a high level but now they’re invited to the top of the mountain.
Furthermore, I noticed fast special sounding riffs as every death metal band should do these days. Monstrosity made an album with no compromises; just good, fast sounding death metal.

Hopefully for Monstrosity this is the album that gives them the credit they deserve and I hope for the drummer that the line-up stays the same for once.
