There are some people that call Six Feet Under the Godfathers of death metal and there are others that don’t like this band at all. I know for sure that this band doesn’t need any introduction.
The band started out as a side project from bands like Cannibal Corps, Obituary, and Death. Six Feet Under has gradually grown into being one of biggest bands on the scene, while they do nothing special but make ordinary death metal.
On their newest effort, called Commandment, Six Feet Under still does the same as it is doing since the start of the band; mid-tempo guitar riffs combined with Chris Barnes vocals. | |
Six Feet Under just makes good, brutal metal music with nothing special in it. I always wondered why this band became so famous and big. I think it’s because of the members that are from Cannibal Corpse and because of some good promotion by Metalblade.
What can I say more? Six Feet Under made a nice new album with nothing special in it. The biggest progress with Commandment is the great production on it. The sound of the album is very clean when you compare it to the earlier albums.
The fans will love this album, just because it’s another new Six Feet Under album.
