Mart is the biggest black metal guru within the Rockezine crew, but when I found this three song blackmetal EP from The Grief, I really wanted to give it a try.

The Grief is a band from Ecuador and they say that they play doom black symphonic metal. Sure enough, you hear the black and symphonic parts, but what you can’t hear are the doom parts.
The music from The Grief is very busy every moment there`s something happening and you can’t hear the music because there’s someone screaming very annoyingly almost throughout the three songs.
These four people should listen to their own album and ask themselves if it isn’t a better thing to let us hear more music and less screaming.

There’s nothing left of the symphonic parts, because of all the screaming.
Now I wish I would`ve given this release to our very own Mart and maybe he would`ve loved it as a black metal specialist.
