CHERRY THIRTEEN

Twenty Stone Blatt
Rating: 8/10

Filthy rock and roll, reminding of the latest “Hellacopters’” work. Rough, yet melodic vocals and catchy riffs, with roots in the seventies. No polished production, but a straight in your face, sparkling soun;, and a well balanced diversion of up-tempo and straight-ahead rockin’ songs.

Also a well-performed punky version of “Atomic Punk” (“Van Halen”), and a beautiful ballad (?), with a wonderful guitar solo. (The additional sax was not necessary) Nothing new; but raw, yet very swinging.
