It seems like Eurocore is on it’s revival. Bands like Backfire, Only Attitude Counts, Right Direction were pretty populair in the mid nineties, but slowly this type of music moved for metal and old school hardcore. Vindicator was always a band in the shadow. Behind aforementioned bands and rykers’ etc. Maybe they get this time what they deserve.

‘ On and on’ is their new record in their 10 years of existence. Last fact is mentioned in the song ‘ 10 years’. Vocalist Uwe makes most impression. He screams, sings and shouts out his lyrics.

Somewhere between Roger Miret and Lemmy. But it’s not only he who makes this record pretty decent. It’s also the music. The energetic riffs. Although I like to say the bass lines are too loud in the production. Strange enough it also gives this record a groovy feeling. Songs like ‘ Sad Story’ and ‘ I.F.O.T.C.’ gives a perfect impression of what this band is able to.

Vindicator delivers a cool sounding record with ‘ on and on’ . Hopefully they will be able to make a next step. They definitely deserved
