A CD-cover in 60s cult style like this always scores with me. The album itself isn’t bad either. It starts with some songs in the traditional “Ramones” way, so the fans won’t be scared away. From track 3 to 7 it’s the pedal to the metal, and shifting to the highest gear. Marky and his speedkings live up to their name, and I am wondering if this will go much faster on stage, as was the tradition with the “Ramones”. | |
Then it’s time for some party punk songs; and a track which could have been recorded by “Billy Idol”. Finally it’s time to return to the roots: some songs which could have been played by the masters themselves, with lots of oohs, aaahs, and na, na, nas. Briefly for the fans: the inheritance is safe; (“Ramones”) rock and roll is here to stay!
