This album doesn’t makes my metal heart pound any faster. Lack of inspiration must be the problem. Holy Martyr is a heavy metal band from Italy and their theme on this album is the Roman Times. The intro is hilarious, sounding like a soccer team who read the roman legions oath. Followed by a not bad produced, but not very exeptional 80’s metal. The singing is not to bad even when its sometimes a little over the top.

When you look at it from a other prospective you can like this indeed.

Lyrics are catchy at times and I could sing it along with friends when we get drunk or something( yeah! party time). No complex renewing metal songs and maybe that`s what makes this album `do-able` for people who are really into old school heavy metal. The guitar riffs sound very catchy and drums are not to bad either. Holy Martyr proofs you can repeat history and get away with it.
