I can’t tell you if this band made some progress because I never heard their earlier work. This album is musically a good album.
Toxic Bonkers has some kind of a grind sounding metalcore sound. The band will kick my ass for calling them a little bit metalcore, nobody wants that label on their band. Unfortunately almost every modern metal band has something of from that popular word in their sound.

Call this band more grind, that’s only because of vocalist`s monotone screaming and the high tempo some songs have. The metalcore part is in the midsections of the songs, they make sure you can take a rest between the double bass parts.

`Progress` is a nice CD if you like grind with some soft parts.
