Sometimes when you’re listening an album you just can’t make up your mind what to think of it. In these occasions there are some good points but as many bad points as well.
This EP by the German band Auxitt is one of those releases. The album was earlier released and Restrain Records and is now re-released.

The words that are going though your mind while listening are: American, pop, emocore and rock. With American I don’t mean the singers accent, because you can clearly hear that this guy is German. The sound by this band has got an typical American touch. These days it seems every band likes to sound as if they are from the States. I can’t understand why bands try to disguise their origin and try to be something they’re not.

Auxitt put five chapters of their best songs on an EP and released it to get some attention for their upcoming full length.

The full length will be released later this year and I’m really curious if that release has something distinctive. “Rebuilding The Architect” is just one out of thousand releases that should be labelled average. This doesn’t mean that this bad, it means that they have to work on their song writing and originality to escape from the grey masses.
