The newest effort from this quartet from Australia is called Tomorrowland. Black Majesty is famous for their melodic power speed metal with a lot of Iron Maiden and Blind Guardian influences.

You can’t say anything bad (expect the Deep Purple cover) about this release. The song structure is very good, but not really new. The vocalist is good in hitting the high notes, like mister Tim Owens (Iced Earth). The solos are fineas well, but again not innovative.

The only bad part of this album is the Deep Purple cover Soldier Of Fortune. The original version is still the best I ever heard. A few months ago Opeth also covered this song on their special edition release and that version was way better than this one.

When you play a cover you have to add something special to it and Black Majesty definitely don’t do that.

You can say that this is a nice power metal album with more speed than their previous albums.
