Extreme death metal with spastic influences is what Cephalic Carnage brings since the day they started and their new album Xenosapien is nothing different. With great albums as ‘Lucid Interval’ and ‘Anomalies’ in the past the band made a big name for themselves. Nothing of this will change with the release of Xenosapien. The band does what we’re used from them and they do it well.

Xenosapien is a typical Cephalic Carnage album that can only be compared with their previous releases. A song that really stands out is G.

obal O.verhaul D.evice because it’s so different from the rest, but at the same time fits perfectly. The song is more doom/stoner oriented and the clean vocals are great.

Xenosapien isn’t better or worse than the previous named albums. Again Cephalic Carnage release a great extreme album that will spin many rounds in my cd-player.
