What do you get when you put a Dutch, Moluccan and an Iraqi metal head in one room? You get Vulgar Faction, a metal band that should have enough material to sing about.

You clearly hear the different religions and backgrounds of the members on this album. The band must be inspired by the old Sepultura sometimes.
The different nationalities are the only positive thing that entered my mind while listening to this four song EP. The vocalists screaming sounds like he`s blowing his brains out. The worst highlight of his vocals are the clean singing parts in the song Bring Back Hanging.
Unfortunatly this also goes for the riffs. The riffs are boring and, it looks as if they are stolen from a lot of other bands and put together into one riff.

The subjects they`re singing about are also to easy. You expect some lyrics about dying friends or something they saw in their countries. Vulgar Faction is just screaming about the good warhead’s they are or just encouraging soldiers to kill everything.

Vulgar Faction definitely needs a lot of work on their song structure. The band needs to give all the nationalities a place.
