Their last record Undoing Ruin is still the favourite album of my stereo about twice a week. It turns up the volume when the album starts to play.
Darkest Hour has become one of the most popular, best selling acts of the metal scene these days. Besides being popular and selling lots of albums they also make good, sorry, great albums.

Deliver Us is, just as the earlier albums, one you can’t judge after one listening session. The album needs five or six listening session and it’s still getting better every time you listen to it.
The band didn’t change a lot of things since Undoing Ruin they just became older so the sound and production is more mature. The voice of John Henry fits, again, perfect in the sphere the band tries to create.

The raw underground sound is still presented on this album. The guitars are still fast, the riffs somtimes difficult and the solo`s really add something to the entire sound. You can say that Darkest Hour delivers the underground sound to the mainstream audience.

As you could read in this review, don’t judge this album after one listening session. Listen to this album a few times and you’ll love it for the rest of your life.
