Miscreants is formerly known as The Architect. But the fact that are a million bands who have a name like that they changed it to Miscreants. Unfortunately there’s also a rock ‘n roll band from South West England who is named The Miscreants.
A few years ago the band recruited former Shai Hulud vocalist Geert van de Velde and with him on board they try to reach a higher level. In all the media they refer to the fact that their singer is an ex-Shai Hulud member, that’s a real pity.

“Welcome The” is their debut EP released on Let It Burn Records. It contains six songs including one intro. The songs are strong thrash metal songs with a lot of hardcore influences. You will be blown away by listening to “Welcome The”. Within 20 minutes the band brings you their five songs with a lot of mosh parts.

On a few songs the band gets some help from Instil vocalist Rene, who sounds often a bit more brutal then Van der Velde. Nico from Omission (r.i.p.) also gives a helping hand on the song “To Our Doom We March, A Smiling”. On most parts they sing together, so it isn’t really a addition to the songs.

The Miscreants are definitely welcome in your metal world. This debut EP is a nice teaser for an upcoming album or a live show, which is a speciality of their singer.
