If you liked Neaera’s first two releases “The Rising Tide of Oblivion” and “Let The Tempest Come”, I’m sure you’ll like the newest effort of this German band. Meet "Armamentarium", their heaviest record so far.

Listening to the firs track `Spearheading the spawn` I noticed a new sound, which continued throughout the rest of the album. I`ve heard other people call it melodic death metal and I like it. The band also took a big step forward with the vocals. I got goosebumps several times even though it sounded dark en brutal.

But I guess that`s a good thing. As I moved down the tracklist, I got more and more excited about the entire album. It just works. The record is one piece. The songs complete eachother. Some people might say there`s a lack of diversity, but I think this doesn`t affect the impact it had on me. It just adds up.

Nice to know as well: Heaven Shall Burn`s Marcus Bischoff has lent his voice on the last song.
