Technical death metal from Sweden is something I won’t say “No” to. With Aeon I guess I got what I wished for, and brutal and tight it is. That these guys listened to Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse is obvious, but besides the brutal death parts the band also uses some melodic catchy riffs where Sweden is known for.

With lyrics as ‘I believe in Satan and he believes in me’ and ‘All churches should burn’ the band makes sure you won’t mistake them for a Christian white-metalband.

But by looking at the artwork you should have guessed Aeon will not be knocking on your door to spread the holy word of God.

There’s actually not a lot to say about this release. If you`re into death metal you should definitely check these guys out. Personally Rise To Dominate started to bore me after listening to a couple songs. The tight, brutal (tricker) production and the Satanic lyrics/theme might push you over the edge though.
