I haven’t heard much of the promo version of Blood On The Highway, The Ken Hensley Story. This is not because I didn’t like what I was hearing, but because the cd started to skip after a few tracks. Still U can make a good judgement about the quality. The fact that I was disappointed to find out that my PR-copy was flawed, was a good indication. “Blood On The Highway” is a concept album, telling the tale of a seventies rock god. | |
I don’t know if this one is biographical (Hensly is best know for his work with Uriah Heep). The album features contributions of a lot of musicians Hensley has worked with in the past: Jorn Lande, John Lawron, Glenn Huges and Eve Gallagher. This resulted in over sixty minutes of excellent classic rock that won’t disappoint fans of the genre. (Geert) |
