I remember P:O:D (Pedestrians Of Blue) to be one of the first bands I had to review at Rockezine. I got my hands on their first EP for over five years back. I than described this band as one of the most promising bands in Norway. It is sad to notice that it took the band five years to release their debut album. The band chose not to be signed by a record company. Instead they release “Crossing Over” on their own FishFarm label. I still think that P:O:B delivers excellent rock music with a poppy edge, but I don’t think that “Crossing Over” will get the attention it deserves.

This kind of music needs a big record company to promote this music properly. It obvious has potential, even for radio broadcastings. Nothing fancy, nothing too complex and the focus on melody. Powerful riffing, appealing drumming and not unimportant: pleasant vocals. Recommended to fans of melodic rock, fans of Asia and the more progressive among the Toto fans.
