A hybrid mix of Metal, Hardcore and melodic Rock mixed with some Southern influences. That’s at all cost in a nutshell at this second outing. It’s difficult to bring these influences to a coherent sounding record. At all cost also struggles with this problem. They don’t choose, but try to make a cool sounding mix of those elements. They partly succeed. ‘ Circle of Demons’ (that’s how this record is called) is heavy and brutal and pretty melodic, especially in the refrains. But that’s a problem nowadays. It’s a trick that is being used by a lot of modern bands, but most are just coming out with a mediocre record. At all cost, unfortunately, Is one of them.

They now and then have pretty cool Darkana a-like-parts, and are decent song writers, but I never get the click. It all sounds too fabricated. How deep is the anger of the endlessly screaming vocalist Andrew Collins. And why does he use that irritant vocoder on his voice. It’s almost like Cher is singing in Soilwork.

When you hear the latest releases of Darkest Hour, Soilwork or Arcane Order, you know you’re dealing with quality. At all cost tries, but it sounds too much copy paste and forced to make a big deal out of this cd. Only for die-hard modern thrash fans.
