Some bands still do it, and get away with it. Eighties heavy metal as it sounded back then. Especially live it can reach lots of people, and make them proud of those despised eighties. “Wacken Open Air” is one of the biggest metal festivals, and one of the places to let many young metal heads know what it was like back then, and let the older ones know they’re still alive.

Grave Digger succeeded in this mission. They played “Wacken”, stood their ground, and recorded this memorable document. Classics as “Scotland United”, “Circle of Witches”, and many others are present on this album. No surprises, but a well-performed live overview of the band.
