Michael Schenker, "The Mad Axeman" or "Mr. Flying V", is still one of the best guitarists in rock on this planet. He joins The Scorpions at age 15, leaving them to become a member of UFO when he`s 17 (somewhere around 1972). A year later he`s asked to audition for the Rolling Stones, but refuses and continues with UFO. They record six albums including the classic live LP "Strangers In The Night", which becomes one of the most liked live albums in rock. He`s been voted nr.1 guitarist in 9 countries (!) and also recently voted "one of the most influential guitarists of all time". UFO is one of the most influential bands of the 80`s, but due to personality clashes, Michael leaves the band to play on the very succesful "Lovedrive" album from The Scorpions in 1980. Again, Michael leaves the band from his brother Rudolf and then starts his own band MSG, the Michael Schenker Group.

This band is also very succesful and Michael is asked by supergroups like Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne and Deep Purple to join them, but he doesn`t give up his own career. After a whole lot of MSG albums, he again joins UFO in 1995, to record the strong "Walk On Water" CD and tour the world. With his own band, he then records another few albums (like the great "Be Aware Of Scorpions" last year) and so we finally reach the year 2002. After more than 30 years in the business, once again this new album is an (instrumental acoustic) masterpiece; composed, performed and produced by Michael Schenker himself. If you`re into his unique style and fabulous technique then you just have to buy this album. It`s wonderful.
