Only three new songs on this one. The other eight have been released on a split album with Lowrider and the EP Sun Creature. Both hard to get your hands on. Especially Sun Creature as it has been released through the sadly gone bankrupt Man`s Ruin label. Five of these tracks have been remixed and I must admit they sound better. A bit brighter and clearer. The fans obviously have these two beautifull records but for the people who don`t: buy this cd and make yor life complete! The three new tracks are the most important so here we go. First song on the album is Rocket. An AC/DC influenced rocker. | |
Eddie Glasses vocals and Nebula`s typical groove make it their own. This up tempo energy burst is followed by the more bluesy Long Day. Kind of like the Stones meet the Allman Brothers. Hmm, not the worst bands to be compared to. Perticularly because Nebula are as good at songwriting as the bands they remind of. New one number three, Bardo Airways, is a more traditional Nebula song. Groovy as ever. Lazy but tight. After that the nostalgia begins with Anything From You. Damn, I can`t help it. I love this band and everybody should buy all their records. The world would be a better place.
