Trends have come and gone, even within Death Metal. Vomitory survived it all. Still as brutal as ever they unleash another album upon us. Death Metal it is, straight up. No beating around the bush whatsoever. It`s their fourth album, their second on Metal Blade. What`s there to say about a band that is as consistant as this? It`s a little faster, a little better produced and getting a little predictable.

The album is produced by Hanrik Larsson, never change a winning team I suppose, and the sound is very good. The only thing is that there`s nothing surprising about this album. Musically and lyrically it`s all been done before. Yet, the high quality makes up for that. And that`s about it really. It`s a very good Death Metal album and that`s what it is. I can`t think of anything I could add to that.
