One of Holland’s most extreme death metal band Severe Torture releases the “Butchery of the Soul” MCD to cover the bridge between their great debut “Feasting on Blood” and a follow up named “Misanthropic Carnage” due to come in August 2002. Besides songs of the above mentioned debut like “Butchery of the Soul” (re-mastered), “Rest in Flames” and “Pray for Nothing” this MCD also contains two songs of earlier released 7”`s (“Lambs of a God” and “Taking Down the Descender”).

But the most interesting part of this MCD is in the end. The Cannibal Corpse cover “Perverse Suffering” and a video clip of the song “Butchery of the Soul”. The cover is well performed and the video clip contains shots of a live performance together with some backstage and tour fragments.
