YES!!! Finally it`s here, the successor of the 1999 debut `Bound By Fire`. Zimmer`s Hole is an homage to about every style of metal, hard rock or whatever you like to call it. It also holds a mirror to the metal scene in which can be seen how ridiculous it is sometimes but even more how much fun it is. Not only to play but also to listen. You hear a lot of familiar stuff. `Death To The Dodgers Of Soap` is a song Morbid Angel doesn`t make anymore these days and `Re-anaconda` is a nice King Diamond flick. `Sodomanaz` could be on the next Macabre album. (guess they got the inspiration on last year`s Waldrock festival?) Almost every song has a quote from history`s greatest (Slayer, Metallica etc.). The real dinosaurs are honored with a full cover version (Nazareth`s `This Flight Tonight`). What a great song!!!

As the band themselves state:

The album gave me the wide grin, not only from the recognition but also from the lyrics. These are very often tongue in cheek or perhaps foot in mouth would be a better expression. It`s definitely the album with the most frequent use of sexual explicit language (both the male and female C-word). Together with the references to yesterday`s and today`s music this is just great FUN! And this is one thing we don`t hear too often (almost never that is). Brought with excellent musicianship (Jed and Byron from Strapping Young Lad and produced by the Master himself) this is one hell of an album and it will become a classic; just as the first one.
