Seven songs, of which four are various remixes of ‘WakeMeUp’. That might have been a problem if the song wasn’t such a great danceable one. The sound of NEUROTICFISH is best described as a mixture of Depeche Mode and Apoptygma Berzerk with a great heavy dance beat underneath it. The previously unreleased song ‘Care’ shows that NEUROTICFISH can create an emotional, tearjerking ballad as well. Especially the attention for every little detail in the different layers of the electronic music make this song special.

The demo version of ‘Rotten’ sounds straight from a good studio. It’s a bit like Apop used to do during their ‘Soli Deo Gloria’ time. It’s best described as melancholic, but not too desperate, electropop. The smooth-edit of ‘Mechanic Of The Sequence’ keeps the music in the same direction as ‘Rotten’. In the end we have another two remixes of ‘WakeMeUp!’ and we know that with this music there’s hardly a chance that we will fall asleep so there’s no use in waking up, is there?
