The main man behind Internecine is Hate Eternal and Morbid Angel bassist/vocalist Jared Anderson. He worked on these songs for more than five years. Besides the fact that he wrote all music and lyrics, he also played guitar, bass and did all the vocals as well. On drums he got help from two human tornado`s namely: Tony Laureano (ex-Malevolent Creation, ex-Angel Corpse, Nile) and Derek Roddy (ex-Malevolent Creation, ex-Divine Empire, Hate Eternal). The album is produced by Erik Rutan (Morbid Angel/Hate Eternal) who also played some very cool guest solos on it. It seems like one big family. I don’t know if this is a band or a project. Who cares, this is very good! Just check out the song: ‘The Calling Of The Hordes’. A punch in the face rarely felt this good! Brutal and technical high-quality death metal.

Violent, diverse and hyper fast in the vein of Hate Eternal and Morbid Angel, but different. Internecine is no cheap rip off! Now and then I also hear some Immolation-like riffs. Especially halfway ‘Hallowed Guidance’ which sounds pretty sick. Some guitar melodies like in ‘Ceremonies Of Deceit’ remind me of Atheist. And check out the demonic vocals in ‘Inverted’. This sounds really great! Death metal freaks can’t afford to miss this one! I’ll end this review with a quote of Mr. Anderson himself: "This record is dedicated to the time of the destruction, I anxiously await the day of cleansing of this disgusting earth which the masses have created, for I am one, for I am war!!" Now you know why this album is so devastating...
