“Secidan” has been released some time ago now, but Rockezine just got their hands on it. The quality of this record however gave us reason enough to review this album. OTHER DAY is a melancholic dark wave band who combines that with romanticism and classical elements. Vocalist Sad ‘talks’ about his own visions of melancholy, death, love and life; sometimes supported by an angel-like female voice (thank you Pandaimonium – B.). The music on “Secidan” is dark and creates an unique atmosphere. If you listen to this you won’t be surprised to hear that this band played together with Diorama, because of the similar intensity both bands have. | |
You can’t talk about highlights on this record, because all the songs got a special touch. Don’t expect any dance floor fillers, but if you’re into electronically touched dark romantic sounds than you have to get this album. The lyrics are in German, English and French. The end result is just absolutely stunning…
The music justifies this late, but honest, review… Just can’t help it…
