Dutch electronic band HOER have been around for a while now. Apart from the two full-length releases ("Lost" and "TV-Nation") every now and then they release a promo with new or re-recorded songs. "2002 Promo" is such a promo, containing two new versions of `The Beloved` (a club-mix and an extended version) and a new song (`Electron`). The club-mix version of "The Beloved" is a nice mix if you liked the original, and more interesting than the `extended` version that`s also on the album.

The most interesting song, however, is `Electron` which shows HOER going more and more in the musical direction of German electrorock (such as Das Ich and Funker Vogt) or even the Dutch Clan of Xymox, which might not be very original, but it`s well-performed and raises expectations for a new album.
