Always funny to see that an EP can last as long as a full album. [:SITD:] put five different versions of ‘Snuff Machinery’ and two different versions of ‘Hurt’ and ‘Mortal’ on their record. Have to admit that ‘Snuff Machinery’ is a great – heavy electro beat oriented – song. The first Machine In Motion mixed version puts you right in the middle of the dance floor. The most distorted remix is done by Pzycho Bitch and gives the song a more industrial (electro blast beat) feeling. The club version of the song however works best on any dance floor.

The beat is even more present than on the other versions. It’s just a pity that there’s a quieter piece in the middle of the song that distorts your balance when you dance. It’s not strange that this song went up to number one in the Dutch Cybergothic Charts. ‘Hurt’ is an up tempo song as well and it has the same tension as ‘Snuff Machinery’. ‘Mortal’ is a bit slower, but has the same elements. A bit of a whining voice by Carsten Jacek and the electro – with breaks – by Thomas Lesczenski.
