Does this band needs to be introduced, guess not? But for the lakes among us, Six Feet Under started out as the new band of Chris Barnes (ex-Cannibal Corpse), and Allen West (guitarist of Obituary). Ever since their first re-lease, "Haunted", I am, and luckily still am, found of this band. The great catchy riffs and the deep death-grunt of Mr. Barnes are the perfect ingredients for uncomplicated releases full of death-metal art. And face it, 10000 peo-ple screaming "War is Coming" in the camping tent of the Dynamo Festival a few years ago even gave me chick-enpox. This band is big, and probably is going to be bigger if I listen to the songs on this 4 track (actually 3-track, with an extra video clip) promo of the coming album "True Carnage". The ingredients are still the same and don`t differ too much from the song material of releases as "Warpath". The release kicks of with the heavy and even a little Pantera orientated (flageolets) "Impulse to Disembowel".

And the first thing I noticed that Chris screams higher than before. The second song, "The Day the Dead Walked" is also a typical Six Feet Under song with a catchy chorus. And now I hear you guys think. What about the promised guest appearance of the cult-rapper Ice-T. Well, he displays his rap abilities on the last and even best song "One Bullet Left". This song could be the new "No Warning Shot" (of the "Maximum Violence" release). But fact is that Ice-T performs well, and his raps fit the song. Well people, if you thought that Six Feet Under was dead after the "Graveyard Classics" release you`re fucking wrong. Their back, and prepare, cause war is coming. But at the end of this release also some criticism. I truly am wandering how long a band as Six Feet Under can go on this way. There`s nothing new and unexpected anymore and the band also sounds kind of predictable in some phrases. Nevertheless, this rocks. The video track included.
