Naturally, no one would expect a band with a name like this playing serious music; which is a good thing, because "Sadochismo" is not an album that can be praised for its technicality or the skills showcased on it. However, if you listen to the music from the same kind of perspective as you would treat the bandname and album title, you probably won`t be disappointed.

Making music that can be described as very `standard` midtempo deathgrind, Cockandballtorture set themselves apart from buddies Libido Airbag and Last Days Of Humanity by adapting a quite unique -if I may say so- vocal style. Sounding like a hybrid between Impetigo vocals and a frog concert, the overall sound is turned from `not especially noteworthy` to `addictively funny`. And where as Libido Airbag has a serious flawed production making it a difficult experience to sit through more than three songs, the production of "Sadochismo" is pretty decent.

Even so, the songs themselves don`t differ much and the downside of this kind of unique vocals is that it`s pretty much in one key; therefore even this album gets boring halfway through. Occasional samples (such as the track `Instant Onanizer`) keep it bearable.

I`d say that Cockandballtorture`s league is pretty small and well-defined. If you`re into goregrind, you`re not looking for something that blows you away in technical skills, and you think that songtitles like `Where Girls Learn To Piss On Command`, `Enema Bulldozer`, `Kamikaze Incest` and `Faggot Filter` are funny, this album is definitely something for you.
