Angra created a little something for their fans: a mini album containing a new song: Hunters And Prey, two acoustic versions, of Rebirth and Heroes Of Sand, Hunters And Prey sung in Portuguese, a Genesis cover (Mama) and a live video of Rebirth. Plus some photographs, wallpaper, screensavers and stuff. It’s a nice gadget for the fans, but not that interesting for other people. This progressive rock band’s music is an acquired taste and not one that will easily be picked up by most Rockezine readers. And if you want to check Angra out, you would do better on listening to one of their regular albums.

Hunters And Prey is not that great a song, even sung in Portuguese, that it justifies the purchase of this entire mini-cd. The acoustic version of Rebirth is interesting, but the rest of the album is only for the real die hard Angra fan. And even they might have their doubt about the Genesis-cover which adds nothing to the original. The production is immaculate (maybe a bit too smooth), the artwork looks alright and the musicians are real professionals. But unless you are a desperate Angra-collector, there is not too much to enjoy on this album.
