Two CD’s filled with electro music. Hard, heavy and danceable. The first CD is more danceable and the second album is more straightforward. The songs are heavier, but the diversity of the TRAUM-A is better. This disc opens with the absolute brilliant song ‘One-eyed Man’ from the Belgian This Morn’ Omina. The combination of percussion and electro beats show that This Morn’ Omina got the ability to write dancefloor killers. Other great songs are from Neikka RPM (drum ‘n bass with female voice during ‘Feel Your Soul’), Redzone (with their interpretation of the Prodigy with ‘What Is Me’), Distorted Reality (with quality electro pop during ‘Fever’) and the Retrosic (with their stunning – distorted voice meets high female opera voice - ‘Taste Of Death (Requiem Edit)’).

TRAUM-B is a bit less interesting, but still has some highlights in ‘Absence (Rough Beat Mix)’ from High Level Static (with a devastating house beat) and ‘Sister Electricity’ from Cruciform Injection. The conclusion is that ELEKTRAUMA Vol. 6 is a good contribution if you’re into the danceable electro. For people who like more than only electro it’s a long expedition to listen to both albums after another. It still could give you some new ideas, though…
