Sven`s in the south of France, drinking some ice cold `Kronenbourgs` and from the speakers of his small yet adequate stereo the sounds of Lost Goat blast onto the campingsite. If you want to relax with a few beers Lost Goat`s stonerrock is good music to add to the atmosphere. Most of the vocals on `The Dirty Ones` are done by the bass playing Erica. The other vocals (not a lot) are done by Eric the guitarist. Leaving Tina to play the drums. Except for a song called `The Drifter` where two other people play violin and chello. Sven would describe their music as slow yet rocking, mellow to noisy stonerrock.

The music is complex enough but most of the songs seem to sound a bit alike. Although not all the lyrics are in the booklet, those that are sure seem weird. The weird thing about weird lyrics is to know what makes them weird. Lost Goat`s lyrics seem to connect to everyday life but then after a while the vagueness sets in. After the tenth song a hidden track appears, this one`s intrumental as is track number five. Sven enjoyed listening to Lost Goat`s `The Dirty Ones`. Although it sounded good he`ll continue his drinking binge with some good old punkrock. Cheers!!!
