For the last 9 years Driller Killer have been pummeling their listeners` ears with a blend of metal, crust and punk (the latter shouldn’t be confused with the melodic variety!). This is their sixth album already; and if you liked what these Swedes put out in the past, you’ll love this. Mixing old British punk (think Exploited and Discharge) with a sheer amount of metal and even some US hardcore (DRI), these Scandinavians hammer out eleven tracks that rock (at a relentless speed, I might add) from start to finish.

Talking about rocking, they also added a great rendition of “I Love Playing With Fire” from The Runaways (you know, Joan Jett!!!). Their material is varied enough to keep the listener happy (ranging from metallic ‘slow’ rock to those tasty hyperspeed assaults) and the textual content is diverse as well. Man, did I mention this cd rocks?! And if you’re a vinyl freak, then better get this soon, because the lp version is limited to 500 copies and you get a bonustrack that’s not on the cd!
