Velocity is a relatively unknown band from Athens. The reason why this band is so unknown is most likely due to the fact that the album is completely in Greek, with the exception of two songs, “Athens Crew” and “Skinhead In Stapress”. The booklet is totally unreadable and the song titles are as impossible to pronounce as the album title. And I think it is more than a bit strange that this album seems to be promoted outside of Greece.

Azia Kal Dynamh is an album that can best be described as a combination of old school heavy metal and punk. The songs are all short, compact and powerful with very tight guitar riffs. The sound of the album is amazingly good, although I find it slightly too clinical and even though the music is quite refreshing I think this album is going to fall in between two conflicting genres of music: metal and punk.

The simple very straightforward vocals make this album too punk oriented for metal fans, while the clinical and too clean sound might make this album too poppy for punk fans.

As I mentioned before the songs on this album are quite refreshing, however the monotone punk vocals sound almost the same in each and every song and combined with the fact that most of the songs are all played in mid-tempo, the album tends to bore quite quickly.
