In fact there’s nothing wrong with this FRAMEWORK CD. It contains well-written and well-performed electronic music. But during ‘Elements’ the vocals seem have some difficulties. It sounds a bit like Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost) when he seems to think that he can really do more with his voice. The problem with FRAMEWORK is that we’ve heard this all before and although the band has its moments, they just aren’t enough to create more than a good average CD. Those moments are when the band decides to experiment a little.

Like the use of a female voice during ‘Kill Switch’, that makes you wonder if there is an Enigma connection; but it appears to be Manuela Peters. Another moment that wakes you up is the short jazzy trumpet at the end of ‘Reflections’. The song ‘Overdose’ got that typical dance club mix and is one of the better songs on this album, although the voice is a weakness again. A band could do worse, but it also could do better. This album is satisfactory, nothing more and nothing less…
