Presentation of your music is one of the most important aspects of a successful band. It worked for Coal Chamber. It worked for Marilyn Manson. And it worked for Britney. Now, after seeing the bandphoto`s of the German Drone 24-7, it became pretty difficult of a proper idea of what their music should sound like. Regarding the music, I silently hoped for a Seigmen cover in the shape of "Neon Sun", but my patience still won`t be awarded, since the five tracks on Born Under the Neon Sun are hardly related to any of the bands mentioned so far.

The opening song already shows a sort of harsh industrial with little space for melody.

Still no Suicide Commando, but it`s getting close. Then, with "Can`t Get What You Want", the band shows there is a certain acceleration possible. These (best) two-and-a-half minutes make clear that there is a place for this band. Considering it`s a demo-recording, the sound is pretty good, the music isn`t simple enough to throw away and the lyrical adaptations are good enough too.

Not better than SC, but it`s running up towards a nearby position very fast. Last point is that with song titles like "Watch Me Fall", "Let Me Out" and "Black Melting Signs", the chosen titles show profession and yet simplicity. Keep trying!
